Thanksgiving

I can't believe that it is thanksgiving this week. I would really like to know where the year went. It will soon be 2010. I always wonder what the next year will bring me. I always hope it nothing or good things. For me it seems that if January is bad then it makes for a very long year. But whats the saying, Think positive and positive things happen, I always try to do this but sometimes it don't help much, like me passing A&P II LOL. But any how I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and eat lots of turkey

Three Rivers

I know this really don't have much to do with school but I had to say something about it. I just got done watch the TV show Three Rivers(it is about a transplant hospital in Pittsburgh PA) and it was about a man that was in a car accident and he was already suffering from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS) or it is called Lou Gehrig's disease, and he met a guy waiting for a heart. So he decided that he wanted to be taking off life support so that he can donate his heart to this man. At first the doctor was against his decision but then the doctor sat down and talked with the man and he agreed with the man. I know that sure don't happen to much but to make a long story short, it really made me think why is there so much red tape when someone with a disease that is life ending with no chance of recover, want to end there life? I know this is a touchy subject and everyone has a opinion but I just know that if I was the one with the disease I would choose the something the man on the show did. I know it is a TV show but this happens everyday in real life. The man ended up saving 7 people with the organs he donated. It is so amazing what one person can do in death. It was a very emotional show. I know this isn't a top of discussion but I like these shows. Till next time Peace Out

APA format

I know by the 4th term at school I should know this by now and I usually figure it out but I know there is only one way to do APA format, but I think ever professor at Kaplan grades different when it comes to APA formatting. I look under extra! extra! for unit 4 and the examples helped me out allot but in my A&P II class I might of missed a period here or there and got allot of points taking off and I know I did it the same way before but didn't get that many points taking way. Don't get me wrong, if I do something wrong I should get points taking way but Why is every professor different? Thank god we have a fair professor for comp II. I will surprise everyone and one day I will be a APA wizard. LOL

I want to wish everyone luck in your final projects for all your classes. I hope we all end up with 100%.

Unit 3- online student

Hello Everyone

This is my four term here a Kaplan but I can remember the very first day like it was yesterday. I was so nervous and I thought to myself "what did I get myself into". But now on my fourth term I really like the fact of being a online student. Sure we have set times we have to be in seminars but if we can't make it we can do option 2. Also we can o our school anywhere we are, as long as we have Internet access. An example of this for me is, In December my sister is having a baby and she already has a daughter. So her and my brother in law needs someone to stay with Izzy when they have the baby, so Aunt Heather to the rescue. I get to spend 10 days in Hawaii in December. But I know I will still be able to get school done, they have two computers. I won't have to miss anything. There is some down falls like, you just can't raise your hand and ask a question and in my A&P I class our finale project was a group project, now that was very challenge. We got though it, I even got a passing grade. But in the e I truly love online class and I want to wish everyone luck in their studies.
